Introducing the Consensus
What is the Consensus? The Consensus is a new aggregate rating for movies and TV shows. One of the unique challenges we've faced here at TMDB is building a metric that can gauge the quality of a movie or TV show. Specifically, we're looking for a score that that can be trusted. We think we can offer a unique approach to this problem given the size and scale of TMDB.

Who will be contributing to the Consensus? We're looking for people who share one thing in common—their love for movies and TV shows. Whether you're a professional critic by day or have blogged about every movie you've seen in the past 5 years, we would love to chat. With a large enough network of critics from every country in the world, we believe we can make a rating that matters.
