Lieke, Marieke van der Winden's mother, was closed, insecure and fragile. After she died of cancer at the age of 48, Van der Winden was approached at the funeral by Lieke's foster brother. She learns that her grandfather and grandmother – of whom she has wonderful memories – were wrong in the Second World War. This fact, which had played an enormous role in Lieke's life, had been kept secret for decades. Only thirty years after that revelation Van der Winden dares to delve into her mother's history. In conversations with family and friends, she gains a whole new perspective on Lieke and on her own childhood. And when she searches the archives for her grandparents' activities during the war, the shocking revelations pile up – with major emotional consequences.

In this sequel to the first Showponies-show, Alex Klaassen explores to what extent he cares about what (the still quite heteronormative) society thinks. Klaassen considers coming out for a second time, because he feels like he has ended up in a second closet after his first coming out.

This moving documentary tells the story of Daan, a cheerful and talented boy who left life at the age of sixteen after a school career in which he was systematically excluded. Former classmates organize a reunion to investigate how things got to this point. They discover that many other students also felt unsafe in the classroom. Meanwhile, Daan's sister Julia, who, like Daan, loves theater, is working on her self-confidence. And Daan's group of friends, where he could finally be himself, looks back on the time they spent with him.

In this tragicomedy, three adult sisters and their brother come to the farm of their estranged, deceased mother to divide the inheritance. To their surprise, that includes a flock of sheep. The sisters and brother have drifted apart but it turns out that too is part of their mother's legacy.
