Santiago is contained in the micro-universe of his home due to a deep depression after his girlfriend left him for no apparent reason. After her boss goes missing, Selma travels to a mountainous region called “La Frontera” to investigate his disappearance. In this primitive and dangerous locale, she will find a complex web of deception, betrayal, and murder, not to mention one very unfriendly dog.
