Movian is a media center primarily intended to be used directly on a TV.

It is currently available for Linux, Mac OS X, Raspberry Pi, Playstation 3, Android and Google Chrome Apps

Serviio

Serviio is a free media server. It allows you to stream your media files (music, video or images) to renderer devices (e.g. a TV set, Bluray player, games console or mobile phone) on your connected home network.

There is also a paid for Pro edition which further enhances the possibilities of sharing content in your connected household.

SwissCenter

SwissCenter is a media server that streams your networked media from your PC/NAS to compatible media players such as Pinnacle ShowCenters and Popcorn Hour.

In addition to local media it will also stream from YouTube, Apple Trailers, Flickr, SHOUTcast, TuneIn, and many others.
