From what I have read no he is not

I'd like to formulate a rhetorical answer, but haven't got the slightest idea how that works. Does moaning about one's adaptations count as involvement, in which case I believe he's been involved in each of them ?

Moore seems to be done with comics (and therefore questionable spinoffs of his works ?) :

Here's lindelof calling out on moore for being an hypocrite : "The idea that he came in and told iconic stories of characters that he didn't create and has now turned around and said 'you're not allowed to do that with the iconic characters that I created,' I sort of feel like his own hypocrisy enables me to defile his [work]."

I'm curious about what HBO will make out of one of the few "realistic" and uncompromising portrayals of superheroes I know of.

Maybe more indirectly direct than one might imagine given the following interview: Alan Moore on Superheroes

How did Alan Moore not create those characters. I think its pretty hypocritical to shame a man your basically using the name of his book for nothing more than brand recognition. Because this show has barely anything do with the book beyond references. The Watchman wasn't about Racism.

Here they're mentioning the Mighty Crusaders, just to say in the next sentence that Moore "eventually agreed to create original characters". And even if they were preexisting, so what ?, given the amount of flesh (and guts, i'd add) that he usually puts into his work (e.g. the end notes of "From Hell", his take on the Chtuhlu universe).

Is the show any good (any overall originality) ? Somehow I'm not so curious anymore...

He has stuck his head above the parapet to announce that he will be voting in the upcoming UK election: https://www.theguardian.com/books/2019/nov/21/alan-moore-drops-anarchism-to-champion-labour-against-tory-parasites

... and may want to watch his back for stray bullets. To be honest, I am surprised the article even quotes at all his apparent endorsement of the party's program.

It reminds me of NOFX calling to vote against Bush Jr. back in the days : http://inthesetimes.com/article/158/punk_the_vote

Does casting a vote necessarily imply "dropping anarchism" ? Ironically, some junkfood for thought : https://areomagazine.com/2019/11/06/watchmen-and-the-fundamental-moral-dilemma-do-the-ends-justify-the-means/

Now to spice things up : would he have voted for a right-wing - aka moderate - Labour candidate ? And much much much much more importantly, is he antisemitic by association ?

Well, Stormzy's call for young people to get out and vote seems to have caused an uptick in registration - so maybe musicians can make a difference.

As for being Anti-Semitic by association: probably. It seems that little things like facts aren't enough to prove that a person isn't Anti-Semitic.

Alan Moore repurposed characters from another line of characters that were absorbed when DC purchased Charlton Comics. It isn't shaming it was a matter-of-fact statement.
