Years after the show, I still never see her in anything. Maybe I'm not looking in the right places, but it's a shame. To me she was a revelation in Farscape. Aeryn Sun was, for me, the heart and soul of Farscape and one of my favorite characters.
For one thing, she's underappreciated as a comic actress. Beyond the usual repartee, I'd offer as examples her performance as Rygel in 'Out of their Minds" and as the lisping Southern Belle princess in John Quixote: formerly, when Zhaan follows the advice of the person she thinks is Crichton, Rygel (in Aeryn's body) is disgusted - " 'If you say so, John.' 'Trust me, it'll be alright.' And she believes it! Well yotz, if I'd said that you'd all vomit!"; "Haw-ney, the butlah'th day-ed." In both cases she nails the timing, the body language, the inflection, and in the case of OoTM she perfectly mimics the performance of Rygel's puppeteers and voice actor Jonathon Hardy.
She's better known, I think, as a dramatic actress. Can't argue with that. Everyone has their personal list of those TV moments that push their buttons, the ones so powerful they leave you shaking with several emotions, leave you literally shaking or crying or cheering. One of mine belongs to Eryn Sun near the finale of season 1. Her arc throughout the series is a heroic one, beginning as a mindless fascist stormtrooper and discovering that she was following an empty philosophy, a dangerous and seductive lie. Season one culminates for me in the confrontation between Aeryn and Crais.
Aeryn: "Your oath means nothing to me! You made sure of that. You destroyed everything. I lost everything because of you. (...) Do you know what I learned when I was away from you? Everything I lost isn't worth a damn. And I don't want to go back to your past. "
Crais: 'I order you-"
Aeryn: "You order me?? You will never order me again!"
And then she leaves him in the chair, and throws the switch.
That scene never fails to move me.

Loved her in Stargate SG-1, I've last seen her in the show Containment but she didn't really get a chance to shine.

Hell yeah, she was great in SG-1 too! Really happy they let her cut loose as a comedian, I'd love to see more of that with her. I'll have to look for Containment.

She was pretty good in Pitch Black, too. Just not quite enough screen time.

Don't forget her role as Dahlia on 'The Originals'. She played the 'Originals' aunt.
