Cut aways

Do you like the cut aways? It's a Family Guy staple and it can be very funny, but sometimes it's too much, like do we really have to see every joke that Peter says. I haven't seen all the episodes, so I'm asking is it worst in certain seasons? I really do like pop culture references, so sometimes, it's really funny.
Which one is the worst, what's your favorite?

The animated ones are usually funny and OK... but I absolutely hate the live action ones... I cringe with those. They have several showing conway twitty and it almost ruins the episode for me... but I ignore it and keep going.
