I didn't watch the finale until this afternoon & didn't notice the first time around. But after reading about the gaffe I went back & took a look. The thing is those scenes went by so fast & unless you know where to look most people wouldn't notice.
I really want to know who’s actually catching these things. I feel like in order to do so you have to be watching the episode literally frame by frame. Who has the time or desire for that?
Also, I don’t think they were slipping. Season 8 was essentially shot like 6 blockbuster movies. It was unlike anything else done for TV really ever. The entire crew was probably exhausted and could hardly think straight.

When you have millions of people watching something, chances are there is going to be some cock-eyed bastard looking at a particular angle at a particular time because their dog got their attention or they were leaning back to stretch and they catch this stuff. I mean, I hope to the gods there isn't some poor schmuck with nothing better to do that to freeze frame every single frame looking for something.

Unbelievable. Whoever was responsible for editing these mistakes out definitely slacked this season.

Nah, it's happened a lot over the full run. Mistakes happen. https://io9.gizmodo.com/8-more-game-of-thrones-goofs-that-show-maybe-we-shouldn-1834582280

That shit is nothing compared to the writing gaffs. I would accept Arya wearing an ipod over that shit.
