Dr. Robert Cromwell performs a delicate operation, that has never been done before, and the patient dies. Charged with malpractice and manslaughter, his trial is national news but the jury acquits him. But the court of public opinion is still against him, and the medical board is meeting to decide whether or not to take his medical license away from him. Before they do, Cromwell, an amateur pilot, decides to join his friend, WWI Ace Donald Evans, on a flight to Alaska looking for a shorter route to Japan by following the Aleutian Islands. They crash in Alaska and Evans is killed, but Cromwell is rescued by a fur trapper named Tom Ross. He takes Cromwell to Armstrong's Trading Post, where is is nursed back to health by Klondike, a girl who works for Armstrong, and was engaged to marry Armstrong's son Jim. Meanwhile, Pluto, chasing a rabbit, makes a giant snowball that sends the cabin downhill and eventually traps Pete.

At the Polar Bar & Grill in the Klondike, Popeye and Olive Oyl are the sole proprietors. Dangerous Dan McBluto, the owner of a fur farm, walks in and kidnaps Olive.

In this Alaskan adventure, a surgeon becomes a pilot after he messes up an operation. Unfortunately, he crashes during a storm and finds himself cared for by a lovely woman. He gets a chance to reclaim his self-esteem when her son suddenly needs the same operation the surgeon botched.

Following a shot of a newspaper that outlines the hardships of living in the Klondike, there are scenes a typical Klondike town, of people on a raft, and of people mining for gold.

The wharf is crowded with live stock, and the huge derrick slowly drops the large box or sling into the bunch. Into this cradle a horse is led, and is slowly hoisted and swung over to the deck of the steamer. This picture is taken ten minutes before sailing time.

This picture shows the miners washing out gold by what is known as the sluice box method. Here we see the miners shovelling from both sides the soil containing the gold into the sluice boxes, where the water, rushing at a rapid rate, carries away the dirt and stones, leaving the precious metal, which settles to the bottom of the box, to be recovered in the clean up at the end of the day's work. This is a very good subject, full of action and detail.

Julius and Alice go prospecting for gold in the Klondike and strike it rich. However, they have to protect their claim against Pete, who wants to take it for himself.

Here we see one of the methods employed in the search for gold, where water is scarce. We see the workmen using the water over and over again in the rocker until it becomes too thick with earth for further use. The scene is one of action, as the valuable character of the ground enables many to work profitably in close quarters. An interesting and instructive subject.

Dance hall owner "Silk" McDonald, who wants her for himself, tricks Dorothy into believing that Cameron has been unfaithful, and Dorothy begins dancing in Silk's establishment.

Hector is slinging hash at a Klondike saloon. When he drops a tray of drinks, he is booted out the door, landing at the feet of a man who just happens to have a claim to a gold mine. He buys a false map from the shyster with his last dime. The man tells Hector that he will get rich. He goes prospecting and hits it big.
