Is it possible that #metoo is to blame for JL's low BO numbers? BA is the lead actor and Harvey Weinstein's production company co-produced JL. Should WB do something to protect future DCEU films? WW and SS were before #metoo, but WW 2 and SS 2 are not.

It’s possible. BA is the lead and more visible. So he must be clean, but he wasn’t. He apologized to only 1 of the 3 women who accused him. It’s not clear if he really donated the dirty money he earned. And he’s still a supporter of his maniac brother.
HW and his production company are less visible. I doubt the average moviegoer knows HW produced JL. If they know that, they in all likelihood also know what happened to him and his company. Three days after the first accusations, it was announced that HW got fired. Bob Weinstein, HW’s brother, also said that HW won’t receive credit on any upcoming releases. Last I heard, only 3 of the 9 members of the board of directors still remain.

Funny. Someone accused Bob Weinstein of sexual harassment.

The TWC owners won’t receive any money from the sale. 🍻 Read here.

I bet they knew. That's why they fired him so quickly. Being the owner or founder doesn't mean you can't get fired. That guy Mark Twight too got fired from his own gym.
I want to say good, but many innocent people may suffer too. Many people work for TWC and all the shareholders. I think only those accused of sexual harassment and those who knew and didn't do anything and those who tried to cover it up should suffer and give the money they earned to charity.

I agree. But sometimes you must do something even when some innocent people get hurt. It’s wrong to let sexual harassment go unpunished. It’s wrong to say too many men are doing it, therefore, it’s impossible to boycott them all. It’s wrong to think that if you boycott them all, you won’t be able to enjoy any art or can’t work in that particular industry anymore. Unfortunately, too many people have that mentality and that’s why sexual harassment will continue like it is some thing normal. .

Agree. Another one is that's the way it's always been done. That's why it should continue.

Good to know, Mike. Also good to know is that WW 2 will be the first film to adopt the Producers Guild of America’s Anti-Sexual Harassment Guidelines. Read here.

I wonder how these male predators select their female victims. Looks, age, personality, location, how she carries herself? What is it? They have worked with many women from average looking to beauty queens, but not all are victims.

Fans are upset because of a big tweak in the backstory of King Nereus and Queen Mera.

From lovers to father and daughter? I would be upset too. It's very confusing and completely unnecessary.
