So many implausible things with this movie. I wanted to like the movie but I kept having to suspend my disbelief. They could have done a much better job of keeping such a tramautic event more realistic.
One basic question I have a problem with that I’m just real curious about - can you really drive up to the American side of Niagra Falls, no fences, no walking distance, and jump right in?
Some of the blatant problems I had with this movie

That’s what my husband said, he walked out of the living room because he said we’d seen this Nic Cage movie before. My memory of movies fades quicker than his. Lol

The trial was pretty ridiculous. I know the judge seemed to be in cahoots with Don Johnson but still, the way he was so blasé about the victims was laughable.
But the other completely implausible moment was how the boyfriend and one of the assailants got into a random argument in a bar. Was it really a coincidence that Cage was at the bar at the same time? It initially seemed like he knew that would happen and was lying in wait. But during the police interview its like he had an epiphany once he realised everything came together naturally, which sparked his vigilante killing spree.
