The problem I have with this is that either way, the Russians win.

a) Success. They had an enormous effect on opinions about the Movie. They win because they had the desired effect. (Now WHY they'd do it for a Star Wars movie, I have honestly no idea.)

b) Failure? They had little actual effect on the film, but now all criticism of it and any future title is suspect. They still win by sowing paranoia.

I haven't read the article yet, but I'm still scratching my head about why they'd do it other than boredom and because the Russian trolls hated TLJ too.

Not read the paper either, but maybe it was either a test run or just an ongoing practice exercise to keep the skills sharp for next election time.

Yeah, apparently they started with the US elections and than decided to fuck with Star Wars...cause you know, thats the natural order of things to go in.

Considering people can't keep their discomfort and political paranoia out of discussion about the film, it doesn't sound so ridiculous that some people might simply seek the stir the pot.

I knew it. Disney just stuck the middle finger to all Star Wars fans. Extending KKK's contract when most fans are calling for her to be fired is a huge FU.

Haha yeah they dont give a shit about the fans. All they care about is the bottom line. Hell if Solo didnt flop they would be coming out with more fresh and progressive SW stories for us.
