Yes but in the long run will these movies be remembered? I barely remember Hostel nowadays.

Saw is a lot bigger than Hostel ever was. That's like comparing the Friday The 13th series with Sleepaway Camp.
Just because you are not interested doesn't mean there is no longer a fandom. With one more film the Saw series will most likely become a billion dollar franchise.
