At the end; could someone explain what the monument was about? And, was the woman a character from the film? why was she there? This is probably all obvious to most, but . . . . Thanks.

monument to the author of the book about Grand hotel Budapest played by Jude law and at later age by Tom Wilkinson, the girl was just reading the book

Thanks Markoff. That was the conclusion I was left with after posting this question a year ago.
I guess I was just wondering if I was missing anything else; maybe the girl was not just a random character, etc.

Thanks AnAwe; Clip Cafe looks like a pretty good resource, but I found they were a little aggressive cutting off the end of some of the clips.
