Remember hearing how BAD it was growing up..

..I was about 10 and wanted to see this in theaters but my mom refused based on the horrid reviews. Ffwd to when it finally came out in VHS and I remember really LIKING it. Wasn't making my favorite movies list, but I was entertained (then again, I was 10). I also loved the Commodore 64 game "Howard the Duck: Adventure On Volcano Island" so when I finally saw the movie I had an idea of what to expect.
Watching it right now on STARZ and..its bad, but not HORRIBLE. Has a quirky 80s charm and CERTAINLY not deserving of Worst Special FX at the Rasberry Awards!

It's been ages since I've seen it, but I remember thinking the special FX were decent.
