themoviedb.org is a free and openly editable “wiki” style database for movies and cast data.

All of the content on this site is under the Creative Commons Attribution license. You can read more about that here. The original database was imported from OMDB. Since then however, over 10,000 movies have been added, and thousands more contributed towards.

themoviedb.org is still very much in beta but we encourage everyone to help contribute and make this one of the most robust movie data sources on the Internet.
